Very nice. The first thing that comes to mind is '36 chowringee lane' :)

Hmm.. and it was yesterday when I was snaking pass Sarat Bose Road towards the Barista and musing how good the old buildings looked and, how run-down and apartment-ready they look now. *sigh* Every city I seem to be in seems to be losing the old buildings, the quaint arches, the hallways of childhood mischief.

And, we call all of this progress. Damn and hellfire be upon us.

Yes Parth and Sankarshan. And while its inevitable that these will slowly vanish...instead of mourning...I'd rather spend my time in savoring (visually) what's left. And sometimes, an ugly, plaster peeling, broken window relic will reveal something of great beauty...and in the most unexpected places: incredibly beautiful wooden eaves or stair post, an arch, a quaint door, latticed grill...

Its hightime I invest in a digital camera.
